At the heart of Spectrum Fudge is a story of love, determination, and a mission to make a difference. Founders, Roger and Erin Haney, are parents of two wonderful children, Jake and Caitlin. Jake is on the autism spectrum. Inspired by Jake’s unique perspective, Roger and Erin dreamed of creating a place where individuals with autism and disabilities could thrive, contribute, and be celebrated for their talents. That dream became reality with the launch of Spectrum Fudge—a company dedicated to crafting delicious fudge and confections while creating meaningful opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

From humble beginnings in 2022, Spectrum Fudge quickly grew into something more than a business. It became a community—a space where passion, inclusion, and creativity come together. Our founder’s goal wasn’t just to make the best fudge, but to build a workplace that empowers people to reach their full potential, and gain confidence within themselves, regardless of their challenges.

In 2024, this vision expanded further when Scott and Brandy Hershberger joined the team as co-owners. Sharing the same passion for inclusion and exceptional confections, they brought new energy and ideas to help grow the company while staying true to its founding mission. Together, they’ve worked tirelessly to ensure every piece of fudge and confection isn’t just a delicious treat but a symbol of purpose, growth, possibility and community.

Today, Spectrum Fudge is more than a fudge company—it’s a movement, a rapidly growing movement in the Pittsburgh community. Every purchase you make supports job opportunities, training, and personal growth for individuals with autism and disabilities. We believe everyone deserves the chance to shine, and we’re proud to offer a platform, both inside the factory setting and at shows and events throughout the Pittsburgh community, where talents are nurtured, and dreams are realized.

Our fudge and confections are made with love, purpose, passion for fulfilling a mission and a commitment to quality. Whether you’re enjoying our signature flavors, discovering a new favorite, or purchasing a custom fudge that was created using unique ideas suggested by our students, you can feel good knowing that each bite helps make a difference.

Thank you for being part of our story. Together, we’re proving that inclusion isn’t just sweet—it’s life changing.
